Experimental Study on Energy Dissipation of Saturated Mudstone in Coal Mine under Impact Loading

The influence of blasting energy on fragmentation and damage reserved rock is important for safety schedule drill-blasting construction in coal mine. This study aimed at investigating the dynamic mechanical properties mudstone mine using characterization method, their quantitative relation formula was also developed. impact compression experiments Huainan mining area were conducted to saturated mechanism, crack properties, dissipation law diameter 50 mm split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB). results show that under back-and-forth reflection stress wave, specimens are characterized by circumferential failure axial splitting damage, which appear grain interface. By analysis, per volume (EDV), mass (EDM), absorption impedance ratio (AIER) used represent characteristic mudstone. And AIER best index. Additionally, there quadratic function relationship between three indexes average strain ratio, showing dependence ratio.
